CLARIFYING VS CHELATING
Clarifying is a general term for removing buildup from the hair from styling products for example. Clarifying shampoos are stronger than regular shampoos to give the hair a deep cleansing. Chelating, on the other hand, is a process that removes mineral/product build up from your hair, allowing hair products to become effective again. Chelation uses specific agents to remove minerals, metals, hard water, and chlorine often coming from your pipes, through your bath tub or shower that cause havoc to your hair.
