COLOR LOUNGE ASSOCIATE/STYLIST JOB DESCRIPTION:
Stylist will be trained in Color Lounge’s Salon Culture
Front Desk
Services/Offering/Price List
Consultation
Product Knowledge
Technical Skills
Mix/ Formulate Color
Shampoo Experience
Customer Service
Monthly Reviews
Must pass a written/practical exam (may take up to 3x) (3-6 months time period depending on skill/experience level)
Stylist will be booked only on services they are passed on.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have a valid cosmetology license.
Flexible/ Flexibility in schedule.
Stylist will be working part time based on clients booked and will work up to full-time position as he/she/they get busy.
Be able to follow directions (listen).
Must speak English (fluently) and communicate well.
Attend all required education events and staff meetings.
Want to learn/improve and take action on it.
Follow State Board standards.
Have good work ethic (takes initiative by handling what needs to be done whether or not they’re asked to do so)
Work in a fast pace environment (move fast and be a fast learner).
Able to handle criticism (have thick skin, humble, no ego). It is the only way to grow.
Markets themselves and the salon.
Be a Team Player (no drama).
